Key Responsibilities

  • Perform QC testing in the laboratory, including calibrations and maintenance, using SEM, and providing SPC analysis via the compilation of data and interpretation of results.
  • Oversee product development and testing procedures to identify deviations from quality standards.
  • Reviewing specifications for products or processes and Investigate materials assessed as out of specification.
  • Work with the Technical Team on continuous improvement of material and process analysis
  • Establish requirements for raw materials and ensure compliance
  • Work with the Production Team to collate process parameters and prepare formal process and analytical reports as requested.
  • Provide support for commercial and technical projects in line with business strategy
  • Experience of working within an ISO EN 9001, 14001, environment

Criteria:

  • Graduate in materials science or other relevant subject area
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing and research and development environment
  • Experience of working with graphene an advantage
  • Familiar with problem solving tools, root cause analysis, and able to analyse outcomes and trends
  • Advanced IT skills
  • Internal and external Customer focus with right first-time approach.
  • Open minded and flexible with a positive work attitude. Self-motivated and capable of multi-tasking and being reactive to business needs
