We have an exciting opportunity for a QC Technician to join our team. You will be part of a friendly dynamic team, with substantial potential for your own career development.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform QC testing in the laboratory, including calibrations and maintenance, using SEM, and providing SPC analysis via the compilation of data and interpretation of results.
- Oversee product development and testing procedures to identify deviations from quality standards.
- Reviewing specifications for products or processes and Investigate materials assessed as out of specification.
- Work with the Technical Team on continuous improvement of material and process analysis
- Establish requirements for raw materials and ensure compliance
- Work with the Production Team to collate process parameters and prepare formal process and analytical reports as requested.
- Provide support for commercial and technical projects in line with business strategy
- Experience of working within an ISO EN 9001, 14001, environment
Criteria:
- Graduate in materials science or other relevant subject area
- Experience of working in a manufacturing and research and development environment
- Experience of working with graphene an advantage
- Familiar with problem solving tools, root cause analysis, and able to analyse outcomes and trends
- Advanced IT skills
- Internal and external Customer focus with right first-time approach.
- Open minded and flexible with a positive work attitude. Self-motivated and capable of multi-tasking and being reactive to business needs
