Description
Position Description: The quality control sampling technician is a vital member of the quality and overall production team. The quality control sampling technician is responsible for ensuring that all raw materials are properly received, sampled, and dispositioned appropriately. These tasks are accomplished by document reviews, Essential responsibilities:   • Verifies compliance with standard operating procedures • Identifies raw material condition prior to sampling • Maintains quality assurance operations by following policies and procedures, reporting any deviation from such • Documents quality control activities in accordance with current good manufacturing practices (cGMP) • Resolves quality-related issues • Maintains order and cleanliness in the QC sampling area Additional Responsibilities: • Verifies safety rules are being followed • Performs any other duties as directed or needed Education Requirements: • High School diploma or equivalent required  Competencies/skill Qualifications: • Must read, write, and speak English fluently, bilingual in Spanish a plus • Strong math and analytical skills • Motivated and a self-starter • Detail oriented • Effective communication skills • Must be flexible with working hours • English proficiency required Physical Requirements: • Employee must lift up to 50 pounds • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; converse and listen; taste or smell. • Employee must exert up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
