Our team is looking for a full-time seasonal (standard 40-hour work week plus overtime) Concrete Quality Control Technician for our Balzac, AB location. Here’s what you can expect when working with us:

Experience:

• concrete: 1 year (preferred)
• Quality Control: 1 year (preferred

· Certificated Engineered Technologist (C.E.T) preferred.
· The QC Tech is responsible for conducting concrete testing—according to the specifications for the project—and ensuring that CSA/CPCQA/PCI/ASTM guidelines are followed.
· Responsible for ensuring proper procedures are followed on hardened concrete and aggregate tests.
· Knowledge and experience with ACI Testing are considered valuable assets.
· Willingness to work overtime during peak periods and weekends when required.
· OC Techs must wear protective hard hats, gloves, and steel-toed boots.
· Be physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs (110 kg).
· Enjoy working with concrete and working outdoors.
· Actively participate in the Health and Safety Program and immediately report any unsafe conditions.
· Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and overtime when needed.
· Have a valid Driver’s License and Driver’s Abstract according to company policy.
· Meet all Safety requirements and policies, and
· Pass a pre-employment drug screening.
