JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Technician to join our client’s team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality through rigorous testing and inspection processes. You will play a critical role in maintaining quality management systems and supporting manufacturing operations by identifying areas for improvement.

SKILLS

  • Strong knowledge of quality management principles and practices within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in quality control methodologies, including QA/QC processes.
  • Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
  • Familiarity with quality inspection techniques and tools such as calipers.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have prior Quality control experience (2+ years)
  • Must have good attention to details
  • Must be great with math and measurement and numbers
  • Must be able to multitask
  • Must be capable of lifting, pulling, pushing as needed, up to 50lb or so
Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough quality inspections of raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Inspect in-process production on the plant floor
  • Inspect springs, stampings and wire forms against blueprint specifics and other data.
  • Investigate production defects and rejects of products.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment and tools to and all gauge calibrations.
  • Perform quality control tests using various tools, including calipers, to measure product dimensions and characteristics.
  • Collect and analyze data related to product quality, documenting findings and reporting discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to implement quality assurance protocols and corrective actions as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and results in accordance with company policies.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality and operational efficiency.
  • All other duties as assigned by the Supervisors.
