Description This position is non-exempt, with scheduled hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Hudson Deep Draw, located in Ormond Beach, Florida, is seeking a Quality Control Technician who currently resides in the area or plans to relocate in the near future. Please note that relocation assistance is not available for this role. Develop and manage non-conformance. · Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions (RCCA) for quality issues affecting internal and external customers. · Oversee completion, submittal, and approval of quality and process documentation. · Coordinate quality assurance improvement projects, focusing on standardization of processes. · Ensure quality system policies and procedures are ISO/AS9100 compliant and effectively implemented. · Develop and execute internal audit plans; lead all audits and customer surveys. · Recommend staffing, equipment, software, and technical solutions to improve quality outcomes. · Promote a culture of accountability, growth, and professionalism within the quality team. · Build and maintain trusting relationships with peers, leadership, and external partners. · Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance cost, quality, and delivery. · Perform other duties as required in support of business objectives. Requirements 2- 5 years working within Quality management system. · Knowledge of ISO9100/ AS9100-compliant QMS. (preferred) · Hands-on aerospace manufacturing/engineering/quality experience. (preferred) · Metal forming industry experience. Technical Skills & Competencies · Quality system implementation and auditing (internal & external). · RCCA and advanced problem-solving techniques. · Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean, APQP, FMEA, and other quality tools. · Strong document control experience under AS9100/AS9100. · Knowledge of FAA/DoD regulations (preferred). · Strong problem-solving and judgment capabilities. · Effective written and verbal communication. · Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities. · Risk-based thinking aligned with AS9100/ISO9100 principles. · Lean mindset with the ability to apply tools and techniques for process improvement.
Responsibilities
