As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled Quality Control Inspector to join our team and ensure the highest standards are maintained.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for performing inspections throughout the production process, ensuring fabricated parts and assemblies meet all quality standards and customer specifications. The ideal candidate has a strong background in custom fabrication and deep experience interpreting blueprints and fabrication drawings.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control within a custom fabrication environment
  • Expert-level ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings
  • Full knowledge of weld symbols and inspection requirements
  • Proficient in using all standard measuring devices
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across departments
  • Experience with quality documentation and reporting preferred

Responsibilities
  • Perform in-process and final inspections of custom fabricated parts and assemblies
  • Accurately read and interpret blueprints, including fabrication drawings and welding symbols
  • Use a wide variety of measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.)
  • Verify that welds conform to specifications
  • Ensure products meet customer requirements, internal standards, and applicable codes
  • Maintain detailed inspection records and reports
