We are currently recruiting for Quality Controller at our potato packing site in Boston, Lincolnshire. Shift & Hours of work: 4 days on, 4 days off rolling shift pattern, working 6am to 6pm Salary: £12.67 per hour Your primary responsibilities will include: Conducting regular inspections of raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards. Documenting and reporting quality issues promptly to the quality management team. Working closely with production staff to educate and enforce quality standards at every stage of production. Assisting in the implementation of quality control procedures and protocols. Taking product samples and performing necessary tests to assess quality attributes. Maintaining accurate records of quality inspections and tests conducted. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes. Previous experience in quality control or assurance within the food industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of quality management systems and food safety regulations. Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while adhering to strict quality standards. Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. A proactive attitude and willingness to learn about new quality practices and technologies.
