QUALITY CONTROLLER – MANUFACTURING & PRODUCTION

We are looking for a Quality Controller to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring all products meet the required quality standards. This role plays a crucial part in overseeing inspections, in-process checks, batch releases, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
In this position, you will be responsible for inspecting plastic parts, components, and machinery against specifications while maintaining accurate documentation according to Good Documentation Practice (GDP) requirements. You will work closely with both the Quality and Production teams, reporting findings, addressing issues, and ensuring adherence to ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and regulatory IVD standards.
This is a 6 month contract.
Working hours – Will start on days for 1 month to complete training. Once trained they will be permanently on night shifts (Sunday 21:50pm – 5:40am Friday)

REQUIREMENTS:

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Experience in quality control within a manufacturing or production environment, ideally in industries such as pharmaceuticals, medical, automotive, food, or aerospace
  • Ability to read engineering drawings (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple processes and priorities
  • Flexible approach to work, with the ability to operate independently and as part of a team
  • Experience using a CMM (Aberlink or Zeiss) is desirable but not essential
