• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.

• Comfortable working in a temperature-controlled environment.

ROLE SUMMARY:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Intake & Production QC Inspector to join our quality team. This dual-role position ensures that both incoming and outgoing produce meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and legality. You’ll play a key role in intake inspections and production line quality control.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INTAKE QC DUTIES:

• Inspect all incoming produce against intake protocols and customer specifications.
• Report any temperature abuse or quality issues immediately.
• Perform destructive testing and report findings accurately to customers and internal teams.
• Communicate effectively with customers and respond to quality-related requests.

PRODUCTION QC DUTIES:

• Ensure all product packaging, labelling, and promotional materials meet customer and legal standards.
• Conduct Positive Release checks and raw material inspections.
• Monitor and verify date coding, barcoding, and outer case labels.
• Set up quality standards on the line before production begins.
• Communicate non-conformances to supervisors to minimise downtime.
• Collect shelf-life samples and ensure correct packaging is used.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and housekeeping through a clean-as-you-go policy.
• Contribute to departmental KPIs and support continuous improvement.
• Report hazards or near misses promptly.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and management.
