QUALITY CONTROLLER (QC)

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Quality Controller (QC) to oversee the quality standards of our joinery production. The QC will ensure all joinery products meet the required specifications, drawings, and client expectations, maintaining the highest levels of craftsmanship and operational excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

· Proven 5-7 years UAE experience as a quality control inspector in the joinery or woodworking industry.
· Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and joinery methods. Attention to detail and a meticulous approach to inspections and measurements.
· Familiarity with quality control processes, inspection methodologies, and tools.
· Problem-solving and analytical abilities to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions. Understanding of quality standards, safety protocols, and industry regulations.
· Proficiency in using measuring instruments and tools relevant to joinery inspection.
· Effective communication skills to convey inspection results and collaborate with cross- functional teams.
· Should know to communicate in Hindi.

Responsibilities

· Perform comprehensive inspections of joinery products, including cabinets, furniture, doors, and fixtures, to assess quality, accuracy, and adherence to design and production specifications.
· Testing and Measurements: Conduct tests and measurements to verify that products meet dimensional accuracy, functionality, and performance requirements. Use appropriate tools and equipment to ensure precise and consistent results.
· Defect Identification: Identify defects, imperfections, and deviations from design and quality standards, and document findings accurately. Categorize defects based on severity and impact on product quality.
· Documentation: Maintain detailed records of inspection results, including photographs, measurements, and descriptions of defects. Generate reports on inspection outcomes and share feedback with relevant departments.
· Root Cause Analysis: Investigate the root causes of defects and quality issues, collaborating with production teams to identify corrective actions.
· Process Improvement: Collaborate with production and quality teams to implement process improvements that prevent defects and enhance overall product quality.
· Communication: Communicate quality issues and findings to relevant teams, providing clear and actionable information for resolution.
· Rejection and Approval: Determine whether products meet quality standards and can be approved for further processing, delivery, or installation. Recommend rejection, rework, or corrective actions for non-conforming products.
· Training and Feedback: Provide feedback and training to production teams to enhance their understanding of quality requirements and promote continuous improvement.
· Compliance and Safety: Ensure that joinery products adhere to safety regulations, industry standards, and company quality policies.
