The Quality Coordinator must be effective & efficient with processing all the above; able to work with minimal supervision; and maintain their own work schedule. Activities must be accomplished by utilizing the company’s ERP software (M2M), customer web-based portal, and various other software tools (under the guidelines of company policies and procedures.) General Purpose: The Quality Coordinator must ensure product reworks, repairs, upgrades, and restocks are handled with a high focus on customer satisfaction; be able to maintain a consistent workflow, a high level of accuracy, and an organized work environment (while avoiding process bottlenecks); manage the rework workflow of our suppliers and production technicians, at times requiring diligent follow up to ensure their commitments are honored; ensure customer product FAI reports are accurate and complete; organize the FAI documentation files in an easily retrievable manner.
Role Qualifications: Highschool GED; Previous warehousing, distribution, customer service, and/or manufacturing experience.
Position Responsibilities: Respond to Customer RMA requests within 24 hrs. Request RMAs for supplier nonconforming products within 24 hours, after internal disposition. Coordinate internal DMR’s, including job order replenishment transactions. Coordinate stock purge requests and inspection activities. Check inspection record accuracy and ensure FAI submittals are processed to meet product deliveries. Complete and submit FAI reports (and all related documentation). Can work as a team player in a diverse group and independently under minimal supervision. Essential Skills and Experience: Ability to deal with customers by email (primarily), on the phone, or in person. Demonstrate the ability to multi-task and handle demanding situations professionally. A self-starter with the ability to work independently. Excellent communication skills with good interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact well with others. Computer experience with Microsoft Office and web browsers (with M2M experience a plus). Nonessential Skills and Experience: DMR & RMA experience with knowledge of purchase order, RMA and DMR processes. Have a general understanding of credit and debit memo processes.
