Description Position Summary The Quality Coordinator supports operational accuracy, product quality, and inventory integrity across warehouse functions. This role processes returned goods from independent retailers and Amazon FBA, performs shipping quality control and packaged product inspection, and supports inventory control through cycle counting and tactical inventory management activities. This position plays a key role in protecting margins, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Returns Processing & Disposition Amazon FBA Returns Process FBA returns in compliance with process requirements. Inspect product condition and determine resale eligibility. Repackage and restock items as needed. Independent Retailer Returns Receive, inspect, and document returned product. Determine disposition (restock, refurbish, scrap) per company guidelines. Communication product disposition to Customer Account Management. Identify trends or recurring return causes and escalate issues. Shipping Quality Control & Product Inspection Conduct pre-shipment audits to verify: Correct SKU and quantities Packaging integrity Label accuracy Customer compliance where applicable Inspect finished packaged product for defects. Ensure proper carton configuration and palletization. Conduct product inspections as requested by Quality or Product Management Document quality issues and coordinate corrective actions. Inventory Control Support Execute scheduled cycle counts. Investigate and communicate inventory variances. Assist with bin accuracy validation. Support tactical inventory moves and re-slotting initiatives. Help maintain clean, organized, and accurate bin locations. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1–2 years of warehouse, logistics, retail, or inventory experience preferred. Basic computer proficiency (ERP/WMS exposure preferred). Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Preferred Competencies Comfort working with structured processes. Strong observational skills for product inspection. Ability to identify patterns and recurring operational issues. Clear written documentation ability. Team-oriented with ownership mindset.
