This role is pivotal in supporting Manaaki Ora to ensure our systems, processes, and services meet internal and external standards. You will lead quality assurance activities across the organisation, including audit readiness, continuous quality improvement, policy management, and risk systems. Working closely with managers and teams, you will help embed a culture of excellence, ensure compliance with relevant standards, and support service improvements that lead to better outcomes for our whānau. Ko wai koe / About you: You are passionate about quality, systems, and improving outcomes for whānau. You bring a strong understanding of quality and risk management within health and social services and are committed to working within a kaupapa Māori environment. You are confident working across teams, building relationships, and influencing positive change, while upholding the values and kaupapa of Manaaki Ora. Ngā pūkenga ka whai koe / Skills you will have: Experience in quality management, health services, or a related field (or relevant tertiary qualification) Knowledge of quality assurance systems, audits, and accreditation processes Understanding of Ngā Paerewa Health & Disability Service Standards and/or Social Sector Standards Experience leading or supporting continuous quality improvement initiatives Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and report on data Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to build effective relationships across a wide range of stakeholders Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and commitment to improving equity outcomes Knowledge of te reo Māori me ōna tikanga (or willingness to grow in this area) Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Ngā hua o tenei mahi / What we offer: Annual wellness grant.
