MD Metals, Inc, an established and fast-growing leader in the heavy gauge steel manufacturing industry, is hiring a full-time, onsite Quality Coordinator for our Bedford Park, Illinois facility.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining and implementing the companies ISO 9001:2015 policies and procedures.
• Designing, implementing and training staff on MDM’s Quality Management System and quality assurance best practices to ensure MDM’s products and services meet quality standards.
• Conducting MDM’s Internal Audits, as well as coordinating and evaluating internal risk assessments.
• Coordinating Internal and External Corrective Action Reporting.

Qualifications include:

• AA degree, Bachelor’s desirable
• 2+ years of Quality Assurance experience.
• 2+ years of Internal/External Auditor experience. Completion of Internal Auditor training/certification desirable.
• 1+ years of experience with Surveillance and Re-Certification Audits
• 1+ years of experience implementing and/or maintaining ISO 9001:2015 and completion of ISO training (certification desirable)
• Experience utilizing VANTA software or a comparable quality management software program.
• PS Data or other Steel software experience
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
