POSITION OVERVIEW The Quality Technician position is defined by integrity, accountability, and a commitment to excellence—where inspections, analyses, and documentation are performed to uphold the highest product standards. Through hands-on checks, database management, and attention to every detail, confidence in every shipment is ensured and customer trust is protected. This position is a safety sensitive position and is subject to company drug and alcohol screening, including pre-employment, random, reasonable suspicion and post-accident. RESPONSIBILITIES Inspects finished products and incoming materials using standard measuring tools Reconciles final inspection documentation for shipments Creates and maintains inspection/measurement reports Interacts with source inspector as needed. Generates inspection checklists with visuals to support consistent inspection practices. Develops and/or adapts inspection equipment to meet quality control standards, makes suggestions regarding procedures, standards and equipment to facilitate work and maintain product quality. Assists in training production staff on inspection techniques and quality standards. Communicates quality alerts Processes non-conforming material both physically (segregation, labeling) and systematically (documentation, disposition tracking). Supports root cause analysis and corrective action documentation (e.g., 5 Whys, 8D reports). Manages serial number databases with attention to detail, ensuring accurate assignment and traceability. Other duties added by Leaders and Management. SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION · 1-3 years minimum experience in quality control/quality assurance function in manufacturing environment. · High School Diploma/G.E.D. (General Education Diploma) or equivalent · Gaming industry experience a plus · Technical Capacity · Experience with lean manufacturing desired - 6S to Success- Lean Workplace (Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, Sustain and Safety) · Excellent attention to detail · Problem solving and analytical skills · Good verbal and written communication · Good teamwork and collaboration · Good computer and math skills to measure products to drawings and calibrate tools · Must be able to bend, climb stairs, and continuously stand or walk 75% of the time · Able to lift 25 lbs. consistently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally. · Shifts may include overtime and occasional weekend work AAP/EEO Statement: The Fi Company is an equal opportunity employer.
