Are you a student eager to gain hands-on experience in cloud development, automation, and DevOps practices? If so, we invite you to join F-Secure’s Identity and Access Management (IAM) team as a Quality & DevOps Engineer Summer Trainee for the summer of 2025!
Our team is dedicated to ensuring secure and seamless access to our services by providing a modern IAM platform. As a summer trainee, you’ll contribute to enhancing automation processes, learning industry-standard tools, and playing a vital role in strengthening our IAM capabilities. You will work on modernizing and improving our build, test, and deployment pipelines.

What you’ll be doing
As a summer trainee, you’ll work closely with our IAM team to support ongoing initiatives and modernization efforts. Your primary focus will include:
Updating and fixing Bitbucket Cloud pipelines to improve automation workflows.
Migrating Jenkins pipelines to Bitbucket Cloud pipelines.
Updating and fixing system test environments to enhance reliability.
Gaining hands-on experience with tools like Git, AWS, and Cypress.io.
This is a 3–4 month program starting in May or June 2025, offering valuable hands-on experience in a professional setting while contributing to impactful projects.
What we’re looking for
Basic knowledge of Git for version control.
Familiarity with Linux usage and scripting.
Understanding of Java programming.
Some experience with Jenkins, Bitbucket pipelines, or similar CI/CD tools.
Ability to visit our Helsinki office 1-2 days per week (a bit more frequently in the beginning)

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

Ongoing studies in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. Hands-on practice with DevOps tools is preferred.
