OUR CLIENT IS ONE OF THE LEADING PLAYERS IN THE SEMICONDUCTOR SECTOR. DUE TO BUSINESS NEEDS, THEY ARE NOW RECRUITING A QUALITY DIRECTOR TO BE PART OF THEIR QUALITY TEAM FOR ONGOING TRANSFORMATION PROJECTS. THEY ARE LOCATED IN THE EAST – EASILY ACCESSIBLE.

Responsibilities of Quality Director :

  • QMS Strategy & Compliance: Develop and lead the quality strategy in line with business goals. Maintain QMS effectiveness and compliance with ISO and relevant standards.
  • Policies & Standards: Set and enforce company-wide quality policies and procedures. Regularly update them to reflect regulatory changes and industry best practices.
  • Audits & Certifications: Conduct internal and supplier audits. Ensure compliance with quality standards and maintain all required certifications.
  • Supplier Quality: Oversee supplier quality programs. Collaborate with procurement on vendor assessments and material quality requirements.
  • Product Assurance: Implement robust quality assurance and testing processes to ensure product specifications and performance expectations are met.
  • Performance Monitoring: Define and track key quality KPIs. Report trends and improvement opportunities to senior management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead improvement initiatives using tools like Six Sigma, SPC, and FMEA to enhance product and process quality.
  • Customer Focus: Work closely with sales and business teams to align quality efforts with customer needs. Manage and resolve customer quality concerns promptly.

Requirements:

  • Min Degree in engineering field
  • Min 10 years of quality experience in equipment manufacturing industry
  • Six Sigma certification
  • Comprehensive experience of all quality management functions
  • Comfortable to travel to overseas plants
