Description
Reporting to the Senior Vice President & General Manager, the Quality Director will lead the Power Reliability Division's $1B+ business. In this role, you will develop and execute the division's quality strategy to support rapid growth in utility and data center markets, ensuring world-class supplier performance and manufacturing excellence. You will drive measurable improvements in quality and have a significant impact on PRD's annual and multi-year results. - Leverage cross-functional and regional resources to maintain product flow consistent with industry standards, government, and customer requirements. - Develop and execute the division's quality strategy, including the implementation of a unified quality management system (EQMS), KPIs, dashboards, and accountability routines. - Ensure consistent deployment of quality systems across all plants and engineering processes, driving standard metrics, problem-solving rigor, and root cause analysis for quality incidents. - Lead corrective action initiatives and lessons learned programs to foster continuous improvement in process, product, and service quality. - Build and manage a structured supplier quality function, including qualifications, audits, incoming quality, corrective actions, and risk mitigation. - Oversee supplier performance and collaborate with procurement and operations to resolve supplier-related quality issues, ensuring compliance with customer, industry and QMS standards. - Address customer feedback and quality complaints, ensuring timely closure and systematic solutions, and engage directly with key customers to maintain trust and support contract negotiations. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing, quality, engineering and/or continuous improvement environment Minimum 5 years of experience in a divisional or regional leadership role Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business o Six Sigma Black-belt o Strong understanding of AIAG tools, statistical tools, and analysis o Problem Solving, Minitab o Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) o Implementation of Power BI projects and analysis o Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) o Statistical Process Control (SPC) - Requires conceptual thinking to understand complex issues and their implications on the results of the quality function globally - Ability to implement solutions with a longer-term view. - Conveying complex information and persuading diverse audiences globally - Strong contributor to the development of functional strategy - Must be independent and be able to achieve goals with little supervision in a global and matrix environment LI-LS3 This includes competitive pay and a variety of benefit programs for eligible employees. The expected annual salary range for this role is $158249.97 - $232099.96 a year. This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
