We are looking for a Quality Document Control Specialist to join our dynamic team at SunTree Snack Foods. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Key responsibilities:
· Maintain the master document revision log, ensuring the current revisions are captured and maintained as required.
· Maintain the master list of documents and forms.
· All forms shall be reviewed annually and updated as required. Details of the review and changes must be documented in “Revision Log”.
· Verify all the form within 24hrs, corrections must be done, and forms must be scanned in 48hrs.
· Thorough verification of the forms, which includes transcription errors, procedures not being followed, corrective actions not being taken.
· Follow-up of corrective actions in a timely manner (related to the forms).
· Create Certificate of analysis (COAs) within 24hrs of work order completion and scanning them in JDE.
· Create QAM and place products on Hold in JDE.
· Hold and Release products in JDE.
· Maintain the Foreign Material Log.
· Log environmental swab results and non-conformances monthly.
· Monitors retain samples and ensure the beginning, middle, and end samples are collected per line.
· Conduct refresher training (GMPs, Document Control, Foreign Materials, Allergens, etc.) annually.
· Daily Plant walkaround and verify the forms being filled on the lines.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor of Science (Food Science, Microbiology Quality Control) or diploma/degree from related discipline preferred, or equivalent.
· 3 years’ experience as a Quality Technician, preferably in a food manufacturing industry
· Must be trained in at least one GFSI Benchmarked food safety standard (BRC preferred) and have experience implementing and managing food safety systems in a food manufacturing environment.
· Knowledgeable in understanding the Food & Drug Act and Regulations.
· PCQI - Preventive Controls Qualified individual (Required)
· Must have HACCP Certification
· Preferably to have Internal Audit Certification.
· Must be competent in using standard computer software packages including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, flow chart programming, label programming.
· Must be able to assess production practices, provide recommendations to upper-level management, and ensure compliance with the written program.
