Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our team. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires a strong background in quality. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviews design plans, process procedures, test procedures, and quality manuals to understand the scope, requirements, and ensure compliance
  • Ensures that products meet the organization’s and customers’ quality and product integrity requirements
  • Supports the customer service team by providing analysis/monitoring and expertise throughout the organizational processes related to the BMS
  • Identifies root causes of problems in the BMS process; recommends and/or implements corrective measures
  • Analyzes data to identify trends in product quality/delivery or defects with a goal of mitigating and preventing recurrence and future defects
  • Ensures manufacturing processes comply with federal, state, local, and industry standards and regulations
  • Evaluates customer requirements and contractual obligations as it pertains to the BMS and related processes of the organization
  • Develop and establish quality assurance measures for new applications, products, and/or enhancements to existing processes throughout their development/product lifecycles
  • Liaise with suppliers in assessing applications and/or systems under consideration for purchase
  • Analyze documentation and technical specifications of any new application under development or consideration to determine its intended functionality
  • Conduct internal audits to measure and assure adherence to established QA standards for and corresponding documentation
  • Assist in the development of change control processes, practices, and guidelines for new and existing technologies
  • Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of quality assurance best practices
  • Light travel required (less than 10% per year) for training, customer/supplier visits
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Extensive knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn processes
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to serve as a liaison with developers, project managers, and customer support
  • Thorough understanding of federal, state, local, and industry standards, guidelines, and regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Education:

  • Associates degree preferred
