JOB SUMMARY:

Plans and conducts activities concerned with the quality assurance of processes, materials, and products. Plans and conducts analysis, inspection, design, and/or integration to assure the quality of products. Assists the Quality Manager on leading the Inspection Team
Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Competencies:
Leads improvement projects coordinated with the Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering departments.
Provides support in implementing the goals and objectives established by the Quality Manager for the Quality Department.
Assists Quality Manager in leading the Final and Receiving Inspection team to become more efficient and meet daily production objectives.
Performs reviews of quality documents for compliance with accredited and customer requirements.
Participates and at times leads customer, Nadcap and other third-party audits.
Prepares Material Discrepancy Reports on defective parts in accordance with quality procedures and customer requirements and performs root cause analysis.
Uses problem solving techniques and examines solution options while performing root cause analysis.
Responsible for applying effective corrective actions as necessary, including verification actions.
Monitors delinquent corrective actions and coordinates follow-up with appropriate personnel to close all corrective actions.
Monitors nonconforming product data and trends, identifies problems, and assigns corrective actions to resolve quality issues.
Responsible for analyzing SPC data on products and processes and applies necessary tools for solutions and improvement.
Recommends and implements changes to processes based upon findings.
Coordinates and performs new supplier audits and internal audits to ensure compliance with all quality and customer requirements.
Monitors quality objectives and prepares reports for review as required and ensures actions are taken to meet objectives.
Responsible for customer complaint resolution, RMA root cause and corrective action.
Conducts quality training as required.
Completes Customer surveys and questionnaires.
Other duties may be assigned.
The pay scale for this position ranges from $99,300-$108,000 annually
