The Americas AVIRE team is looking for a highly driven, highly motivated individual to take us to new heights. In this role, you will be responsible for customer internal and supplier quality. You will have the opportunity to establish a robust quality system ensuring compliance to both internal and external quality requirements. You’ll have an eye toward continuous improvement, and you’ll inject a new level of rigor into our manufacturing processes. You’ll focus your efforts on ensuring that our team is supported to effectively build high-quality products for our customers.

JOB SKILLS

  • Proven ability to facilitate and solve problems in a team environment.
  • Experience managing regulatory requirements and certifications, i.e. UL, CSA.
  • Experience with KPI metric management and deployment.
  • Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in electronics manufacturing, a plus
  • Fluent in English.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering management, electronics, or other applicable area of major.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Lean Sigma Green Belt or higher certification, preferred.
  • Experience with EH&S processes and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Define and establish a quality system for managing both internal and external (supplier) quality requirements aligned with Avire’s corporate policies.
  • Work directly with operational leadership to manage quality outputs/results in alignment with business objectives.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure effective quality processes are employed and tracked throughout the organization.
  • Be the point of contact and leader for external audits including 3P certifications, i.e., CSA, UL, Intertek, etc. and be the owner for resolving any associated findings.
  • Build a culture of continuous improvement to ensure discipline in problem identification and investigation with effective mitigation of root cause issues.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining robust EH&S processes and procedures.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
