In this role, you are not a bystander, you are a key contributor in customer reclamation management, technical failure analysis, and warranty decision-making. Why This Role Matters You will have: Authority to make warranty decisions based on technical evidence The opportunity to influence product development by identifying recurring failure patterns A central role in cross-functional collaboration Full visibility and ownership of the reclamation process from start to finish This position combines analytical thinking, hands-on product testing, and real business impact. What You Will Be Doing Technical Failure Analysis & Decision-Making Perform detailed testing and analysis of products returned by customers Create clear and well-structured Failure Analysis Reports (FAR) Conduct Tier 2 warranty analyses and escalate to R&D when deeper investigation is required Ownership of the Warranty Process Decide whether claims qualify for warranty coverage Initiate replacement shipments and ensure smooth process execution Collaboration & Continuous Improvement Work closely with R&D, Production, Sales, and Customer Support Identify recurring failure trends and contribute to root cause analysis Drive corrective actions - not just report findings, but create improvement What We Expect from You You bring: A relevant technical degree (e.g., Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics or similar) Strong understanding of electronics and product testing Practical knowledge of measurement and control technologies An analytical and structured way of working The ability to clearly document technical findings and justify decisions Experience in the following areas is considered an advantage: 8D and structured root cause methodologies Reclamation and warranty processes ERP and RMA handling Building automation systems and HVAC control architectures Language Skills Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential Finnish language skills are strongly preferred Additional language skills are a plus What We Offer A visible and responsible role within the Quality organization Real decision-making authority in warranty matters Opportunities to deepen your technical expertise Broad cross-functional exposure and collaboration The chance to make a measurable impact on products and processes A collaborative team of experienced Quality Engineers Primarily office-based work due to laboratory needs, with partial hybrid flexibility Is This Role for You?
