POSITION OVERVIEW

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that the manufacturing processes and products meet the required quality standards. This role involves developing and implementing quality assurance protocols, conducting assessments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and compliance within the automotive sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality assurance protocols and procedures for manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct regular quality assessments and audits to ensure compliance with ISO 16949 and other relevant standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
  • Analyze data and metrics related to quality performance and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to quality management systems (QMS).
  • Support training initiatives related to quality standards and best practices for personnel.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action planning to address quality failures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in quality assurance within the manufacturing or automotive industry.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 16949, and related quality standards.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and quality assessments.
