Horton, Inc. is currently looking for an Quality Engineer. The right candidate is responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and accuracy of digital marketing platforms, tools, and campaign technologies. This role designs and executes quality assurance strategies across MarTech systems, validates integrations, and supports the delivery of scalable, high-performing digital experiences aligned with brand, operational, and governance standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Design, execute, and maintain quality assurance testing for marketing technology platforms including web, email, analytics, CRM, and paid media systems Validate campaign builds, tagging implementations, personalization logic, and automation workflows to ensure accuracy and performance Develop and maintain test plans, test scripts, and regression testing frameworks aligned with release cycles and digital delivery timelines Identify, document, and track defects through resolution while collaborating with developers, product managers, and marketing leadership Perform functional, integration, and user-experience testing across digital channels to ensure consistent customer journeys Evaluate data integrity across MarTech tools, ensuring tracking accuracy, reporting alignment, and governance compliance Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending enhancements to testing processes, tools, and automation practices Partner with MarTech, Digital Marketing, UX, and Engineering teams to ensure solutions meet technical requirements, accessibility standards, and quality expectations Maintain testing documentation, standards, and best-practice resources for internal teams Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company Education and/or Experience Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Digital Marketing, or related field 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, MarTech operations, digital marketing technology, or software testing environments Experience testing websites, marketing platforms, or customer-facing digital products Knowledge of digital marketing technologies, tracking methodologies, and quality assurance principles within MarTech systems Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify defects, root causes, and process improvements Ability to translate business and marketing requirements into structured testing scenarios and actionable quality standards Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications Ability to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
