Description
This position will be responsible for managing quality-related support for all PQ and PDSS-related products in Japan. PQ; Power Quality, including UPS, Battery system, Power SKID, rack-mount PDU etc. PDSS; Power Distribution Systems & Services including MV/LV assembles, LV busway, Transformers etc. Provide customer interface and expertise to proactively ensure requirements are understood and met, including support for complaint resolution and determination of root cause and corrective actions. Prepare and maintain quality-related reports and documentation, including inspection records, non-conformance reports, CAPA summaries, and customer complaint analyses, to ensure traceability and support continuous improvement activities. Analyze organizational quality metrics and perform periodic reviews to evaluate results and recommend action plans to close gaps at an operational level. Collaborate with regional cross-functional teams including field service engineers, support engineers, R&D, manufacturing, and PLM. Provide technical support to clients before/after the sale of the product, troubleshoots technical problems. Visit the customers' sites to fix the problems at the field if needed. Recommend product improvements to design staff in response to customer feedback. Support execution of FWT (Factory Witness Test) activities as needed, ensuring quality requirements are met and any issues are properly documented and addressed. Bachelor's degree, major in electrical engineering 5+ years' related experience with power and electrical products, experience and knowledge of UPS, Power Distribution Systems would be an added advantage. 5+ years' hands-on experience in quality management and quality improvement activities, preferably in a manufacturing or product development environment. Ability to effectively present information to customers, and/or top management Good written and verbal communication skills Building Relationships, People Skills, Customer Focus. Professionalism. Fluent in Japanese and English (written and spoken).
