QUALITY ENGINEER

Location: Greensboro, NC
Contract Length: 12+ Months

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team in Greensboro, NC. This is a long-term contract (12+ months) with potential for extension. Candidates do not need to be local; we conduct interviews via video and welcome qualified professionals from any location.
· BS Degree in Engineering
· Investigate and resolve vehicle field quality issues in partnership with Product Development, Purchasing, and Manufacturing.
· Apply customer and aftermarket knowledge to improve the Product Development process.
· Ensure product quality performance by prioritizing and addressing market quality concerns.
· Represent the voice of the customer in problem-solving through knowledge management.
· Chair the Field Quality Meeting (FQM) for assigned markets.
· Lead the Quality Action Group (QAG) when appointed.
· Proactively detect and quantify quality issues early using analytics.
· Recommend and drive rapid containment actions with appropriate quality tools.
· Identify and escalate emerging issues requiring pre-investigation.
· Achieve quality performance goals, including reduced fault frequency and warranty costs.
