ABOUT THE ROLE

The Quality Engineer role, reports to the Quality Manager at our Prudhoe Mill. W e are looking for a talented and self-motivated individual to join our friendly quality team, supporting the site in ensuring compliance in all regulatory compliance issues

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in promoting and supporting product improvements, ensuring compliance with quality standards including BRC Audits, and developing and maintaining quality measurement standards. You will manage and implement standard documentation, update material and product specifications, and train teams on quality subjects.

• Production - supporting our two papermaking machines within our Mill.
• Customer Complaints : Report and investigate complaints, establish corrective actions.
• Quality Improvements : Identify and implement quality improvements.
• Support Teams : Assist teams with quality issues.
• Testing : Perform in-process and laboratory testing.
• Compliance : Ensure compliance with BRCGS and ISO 9001:2015.
• Supplier Collaboration : Work with suppliers on quality issues.
• Audits : Conduct internal and support external audits.
• Traceability & Safety : Manage traceability and HACCP/product safety.
• New Product Development : Plan and execute trial tests.
