We are looking for a dedicated Quality Engineer to join our team and contribute to our efforts in ensuring top-notch quality management, claim handling, and continuous improvement.
KEY COMPETENCIES & SKILLS:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent education.
- Experience: At least one year of experience in customer claim handling processes and other QA/QC-related tasks.
- Analytical Skills: Capable of conducting quality analysis and creating detailed reports.
- Leadership in Claims: Ability to lead claim cases and collaborate effectively with customers and internal teams.
- ISO Knowledge: Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 is an advantage.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in MS Office, Jira, SharePoint, QlikView, and ERP systems.
- Quality Tools & Statistics: Familiarity with common quality tools and statistical methods for problem-solving.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English.
Responsibilities:
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
As a Quality Engineer, you will manage claim cases, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions. You will play a crucial support role in the company’s quality management system, contributing to problem-solving and driving improvements across various processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Claim Handling: Manage claim cases within the defined handling process, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
- Root Cause Analysis: Analyze the root causes of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence.
- Reporting & Case Management: Handle claim reporting and case management through Jira, ensuring proper documentation and communication.
- Customer & Supplier Collaboration: Work closely with customers and suppliers to resolve claim-related issues and foster strong relationships.
- Problem Solving & Testing: Set up problem-solving tests, conduct analyses, and generate reports to guide decision-making.
- Supplier Quality Support: Assist with supplier quality issues and FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests) processes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Participate in claim reviews and project handovers with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Quality Tools: Utilize quality tools such as FMEA, Control Plans (CP), 8D, and others to address and resolve issues.
- Audit Participation: Lead or participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Development Projects: Lead or contribute to various quality and development projects aimed at improving overall performance.
