As a quality engineer, you will have to: - Perform quality system audits (Exotec template 006222) for supplier introduction and supplier continuous improvement. - Support Purchasing in selecting the best vendors - Track and complete actions plans to resolve quality issues, and improve supplier quality performance - Facilitate the coordination with development teams for new product development and product quality improvement - Validates the “First Order Inspection” for new products - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Management, or a related technical field. - Proven experience in supplier quality management, supplier audits, or quality engineering within an industrial or manufacturing environment. - Experience working with Chinese suppliers and manufacturing sites is strongly preferred. - Strong knowledge of quality management systems, auditing methodologies, and continuous improvement tools. - Bilingual English/Chinese. Position available under a wage portage arrangement.

Responsibilities

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for performing quality system audits for supplier introduction and continuous improvement, while also supporting purchasing in vendor selection. Key tasks include tracking action plans to resolve quality issues and facilitating coordination with development teams for new product quality improvement.
