Job description:

For our Frankfurt am Main location, we are looking for


a Quality Engineer for Web Applications and Test Automation (m/f/d).


Your responsibilities:


- Ensuring quality assurance by operationalizing the test strategy in an agile environment.

- Planning, designing, and implementing test activities, test scenarios, and load tests.

- Coordinating requirements and deliverables with relevant stakeholders.

- Supporting the creation and provision of test data.

- Analyzing requirements to derive test cases.

- Documenting, monitoring, and analyzing test results, as well as deriving release recommendations.

- Continuously optimizing and updating tests with regard to coverage, quality assurance, and performance.

- Contributing to test automation and deriving business scenarios.

- Creating and executing test cases based on test case design methods.

- Conducting and documenting manual and cross-channel tests from the customer's perspective.

- Supporting and advising other teams in evaluating test results and improving tests.


Your qualifications:


- Completed studies in computer science, a natural science, engineering, or comparable qualifications.

- Several years of experience in creating functional test cases and testing complex workflows along the test pyramid.

- ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent.

- Experience in large-scale projects and cloud/microservice environments.

- Several years of experience in agile projects.

- Sound knowledge of the software development process, ideally Scrum or SAFe.

- Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, and GitLab is desirable.

- Solution-oriented, independent, and analytical work style.

- Strong communication, persuasive, team-oriented, and consulting skills.

- Excellent written and spoken German skills.

- Willingness to learn and apply new technologies, tools, and frameworks.
