Description:
YOUR SKILLS & ABILITIES (REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS)
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in SW Test or Development
- Understanding of infotainment features and systems such as vision systems, driver notification etc.
- Ability to interpret requirements and apply that to test methodologies
- Understanding of Infotainment Operating Systems such as Android, Linux and QNX
- Familiarity with JIRA project management system
- Understanding of calibration development process
- Experience with GMLAN/CAN vehicle communication system and CAN based monitoring tools like Intrepid NeoVi, Rad Galaxy etc.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for executing both manual and automated test scripts to verify Infotainment component functional and performance requirements on GM’s Infotainment systems.
- Configure benches or vehicles to support specific test scenarios.
- Characterize and document defects including identifying steps to reproduce, linking failures to requirements, and collecting all associated test logs.
- Develop and update test cases and test automation scripts as required.
- Execute compliance testing on various vehicle programs.
- Interact with multiple engineering fields within the Software Defined Vehicle team to support defect resolution.
- Verify operation of Infotainment features that function on CAN, Ethernet and LIN communication protocols.
