We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Quality Engineer to join our Inspection Services team to be based in either Methil or Rosyth.

DESCRIPTION

  • Support QHSE, Business Development and Operations in there view, audit and approval of the QHSE and execution, resourcing & control of allocated Projects, producing and submitting compliant Project & QHSE documentation such as Project Specific RAMS, PQQ and ITT Deliverables.
  • Submission of monthly reports for critical path progress, risks and issues and strategic Key QHSE(SG) Performance Indicators(KPI).
  • Maintenance of Business Records through the use of Papertrail and SharePoint.
  • Management of Operational activities relating to inspection & repair including safety and occupational health responsibilities for allocated resource as well as implementation of incident, non-conformance, and preventive/corrective action.
  • Delivery of an allocated internal Audit Schedule.
  • Completion of Internal surveillance in line with the Internal Audit Schedule.
  • Management of all Activities in relation to the Papertrail.io Management & Reporting systems.
  • Ensure all enablement & mobilisation documentation is issued and fully compliant such as RAMS and permits, attested by QHSE Manager and acceptable to Client to ensure enablement of the Project.
  • Carry out risk assessments and consider how risks can be reduced.
  • Support continuous quality improvement, implement best practice initiatives internally & monitor compliance with quality systems.
  • Communicate any critical compliance risks to QHSE Director/Senior Management.
  • Conduct supplier and technical audits and site readiness visits
  • Assist with continual lean improvements such as Rapid Improvement Programmes
  • Manage & review the quality of documentation such as Dynamic Risk Assessments, Toolbox Talk, Vehicle Inspection, Hazard Observation etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Regulatory knowledge that applies directly, or indirectly to the task(s)and working at height to ensure compliance by all allocated SQEP technicians.
  • Experience of Software Management Systems.
  • Knowledge and understanding or IRATA, PUWER, LOLER, PSSR, TMSE, SO/IEC 17020:2012, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, VCA, DNV, APQP, LEAN and other standards required for operations.
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Sound knowledge of improving efficiency and effectiveness of resources.
  • Good, strong customer orientation with demonstrable client retention skills along with proven ability to acquire and grow new clients.
  • Commercially astute with excellent negotiating skills and the ability to handle and overcome objections.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, communication, influencing and organisational skills.
  • Team & Goal oriented.
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with practical, hands-on-problem-solving approach.
  • High energy and drive.
  • IT literate with specific with specific experience using Papertrail.Microsoft Office programs.
