Description:
The Quality Engineer will be based at our Mentor Headquarters and support operations at our Mentor, Cleveland, Clyde, Green, and Virginia Beach facilities. The position reports to the Director of Quality.
The Quality Engineer will support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Greenbridge’s quality management systems and processes, ensuring that all products meet or exceed customer and industry standards of quality, consistency, and functionality. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive quality initiatives, conduct production evaluations, lead corrective and preventive action development, support product development, and lead internal audit activities. The Quality Engineer will ensure alignment with industry standards and customer expectations, fostering a culture of excellence and operational efficiency across all manufacturing sites.
Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to train staff.
  • Thorough understanding of quality control standards and methodologies.
  • Excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Able to function safely in a high-volume manufacturing facility.
  • Able to conduct visual inspection of products for superficial surface defects.
  • Must have a systematic and methodical approach to tasks and understand problem solving techniques.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • An associate or bachelor’s degree in a science or technical field or ASQ certification combined with an additional 3 years of work experience.
  • Experience managing quality systems and auditing procedures and processes.
  • 2–5 years of experience in quality engineering or quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards (e.g. ISO 9001), methods, and tools.
  • Training or proficiency in the use of quality inspection tools, statistical analysis, and root cause methodologies.
