Description
The Quality Engineer will provide support and documentation of quality, inspection, and production processes on complex aerospace products. Qualifications ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Performs Reviews / Proposes / Initiate changes to Command Media (i.e. Manuals, Procedures, B/P’s, etc.) to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with Federal Regulations, Outside Regulatory Agencies, and HEICO Policy. Perform Inspections on Development and Production parts. Determine testing requirements for raw material /processes verification. Manage calibration system by scheduling and supporting on and off site tool calibrations. Provide Training and Leadership to Inspectors and Shop Floor Personnel as required. Assist QA Manager in the creation and maintenance of Quality and Production Metrics. Assist Quality Inspectors in resolution of shop floor issues, concerns, and questions. Work with minimal supervision in a team environment
