Description

Holtec seeks qualified applicants for a position of Quality Engineer in its Quality Management department based at the Holtec Britain office in Bristol, UK. This department is responsible for implementing and maintaining quality assurance across the delivery of energy infrastructure and capital equipment supply projects including the SMR-300. The Quality Engineer will support the Quality Assurance Manager in implementing and maintaining quality assurance across Holtec projects. The role will focus on ensuring compliance with applicable design codes, regulatory standards, and internal QA procedures during engineering design, supply and construction activities.
The candidate will be responsible for internal audits, inspections, quality surveillances, and supporting the development and upkeep of QA documentation, processes, and performance metrics. The Quality Engineer will assist in root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities, while maintaining records in accordance with document control and quality retention policies. The Company uses customised software for its quality assurance, corrective action program and supplier quality management.

Minimum Technical Requirements:

  • Batchelor’s Degree in engineering or related field
  • Past experience in a Quality Assurance role in a regulated industry
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills

Desirable Additional Qualifications: Understanding of QA requirements from NQA-1.
