Description
Identifies and implements effective process control systems to support the development, qualification, and on-going manufacturing of products to meet or exceed internal and external requirements. Supports culture of continuous improvement by driving improvements to existing process controls. Proactively investigates, identifies, and implements best-in-class Quality Engineering practices. Promotes quality assurances, process controls, and CAPA systems designed to meet or exceed internal and external requirements. Apply sound, systematic problem-solving methodologies in identifying, prioritizing, communicating, and resolving quality issues. Actively engages with production teams across all 4 shifts to develop solutions to improve outgoing quality. Provides input and implements departmental or cross-functional engineering initiatives. Provides project direction, coaching, and mentoring for technician team personnel. Assures the development and execution of streamlined business systems which effectively identify and resolve quality issues. Participates in team decision making and displays team problem solving/communication skills. Bachelor's degree in engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience OR Master's degree in engineering with 1+ years of relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education/work experience Strong data analysis skills (Excel, Minitab, etc.) Self-starter with a proven ability to successfully work with minimal supervision Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner with high attention to detail Experience owning nonconformance investigations, process improvement and corrective action projects Demonstrated project management success Experience in medical devices, biotechnology or other highly regulated industry Experience in a manufacturing environment Comfortable speaking to groups of individuals.
