ITW Commercial Construction North America is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer. Its role will support all facets of quality engineering and supplier development. This person will be fully involved in CBI (customer back innovation) process inspecting/testing and auditing regular production as well as product related to field application difficulties. This person will be responsible for investigating, analysis and quality problems resolution, identify trends, conduct audits, and leading continuous improvement projects with our manufacturing teams and our supply base. Position reports to ITW Commercial Constructions North America Quality Manager.
Successful applicants will also interface with the plant management staff to ensure that quality improvement activities are in sync with plant quality and operational objectives, develop and maintain best in class supplier quality program, interface with all hourly employees, supervisors, department managers and division personnel while leading and coordinating improvement activities, coordinate the resolution of product quality concerns (process/customer) and facilitate responsiveness to customers, support and promote Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) activities based on CBI process, using ITW’s Toolbox.
