Description

Responsibilities:

  • Support the initiatives of the Quality Assurance department
  • Supply chain support in the development and maintenance of a supplier rating system and supplier evaluation
  • Develop and provide statistical analysis of quality performance, problems and recommend solutions to both legacy and new products
  • Support the implementation of a Statistical Process Control environment
  • Support continuous improvement activities geared towards elimination of processes variation, nonconformities and cost reduction
  • Perform internal ISO audits of the processes and activities throughout the organization and prepares respective audit reports.
  • Provide monthly/daily reports and analysis as requested
  • Develop control plans, check lists, and inspection procedures for new and existing products
  • Train CNC personnel on inspection techniques
  • Develop gauging requirements for new and existing products
  • Active participation in Material Review Board (MRB) activities
  • All other tasks are assigned by department management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quality, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering or High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Demonstrable track record over a minimum of 5 years of successfully working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity of Six Sigma.
  • Display ISO knowledge.
  • Strong project management experience.
  • Cross functional team builder/player with high levels of professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm.
  • Must have senior management potential/interest.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office (word and excel) and Minitab.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Required CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) experience.
