Description:
Responsibilities:
- Support the initiatives of the Quality Assurance department
- Supply chain support in the development and maintenance of a supplier rating system and supplier evaluation
- Develop and provide statistical analysis of quality performance, problems and recommend solutions to both legacy and new products
- Support the implementation of a Statistical Process Control environment
- Support continuous improvement activities geared towards elimination of processes variation, nonconformities and cost reduction
- Perform internal ISO audits of the processes and activities throughout the organization and prepares respective audit reports.
- Provide monthly/daily reports and analysis as requested
- Develop control plans, check lists, and inspection procedures for new and existing products
- Train CNC personnel on inspection techniques
- Develop gauging requirements for new and existing products
- Active participation in Material Review Board (MRB) activities
- All other tasks are assigned by department management
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quality, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering or High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Demonstrable track record over a minimum of 5 years of successfully working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity of Six Sigma.
- Display ISO knowledge.
- Strong project management experience.
- Cross functional team builder/player with high levels of professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm.
- Must have senior management potential/interest.
- Knowledge of Microsoft office (word and excel) and Minitab.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Required CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) experience.
