High Level Statement of the Role:
Provide technical expertise and guidance to support and continuously improve quality planning activities including customer and supplier activities, assisting in Corrective Action activities, quality reporting, pursuing continuous improvement.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise, support and guidance for quality activities.
  • Understand and provide customer support and supplier direction.
  • Assist in continuous improvement of quality staff.
  • Facilitate quality meetings.
  • Responsible for quality reporting.
  • Lead SPC activities.
  • Assist in corrective actions and problem solving.
  • Drive process improvements to achieve operational excellence.
  • Mentor and develop team members within organization.
  • Understand, support and execute the achievement of performance measures on scorecards.
  • Supports our Vision and Guiding Principles.
  • Proactively communicates across the organization business issues and opportunities.
  • Support the Vision and Guiding Principles and other policies of Kimball International and National Office Furniture.
  • Follow and support the Quality system.
  • Support our Environmental Management System (EMS).

Requirements:
Qualifications:

Educational

  • BSME or BSIE preferred
  • 1-2 yrs quality engineering or related experience
