JOB SUMMARY

My client is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Quality Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products, processes, and systems meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is skilled in root cause analysis, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Third level qualification in Engineering, Quality, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a quality engineering role (manufacturing experience preferred).
  • Strong understanding of quality control standards and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in root cause analysis tools (5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, FMEA, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement quality standards, procedures, and control systems.
  • Conduct inspections, testing, and audits of materials, processes, and products.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Participate in new product development to ensure quality is built into design and manufacturing.
  • Maintain and improve Quality Management System (QMS) working towards applicable standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Support internal and external audits, including customer and regulatory audits.
  • Provide training on quality tools and practices to staff as needed.
