POSITION OVERVIEW
The Quality Engineer is responsible for managing all Quality Assurance activities related to the plating process. This includes ensuring effective inspection processes are in place and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to address and resolve quality issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics, or relevant industry experience
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience of quality, engineering, machine shop, assembly or functional testing experience
- Minimum 7 years of Quality Management Systems experience, including experience related to document management, internal and/or external audits, nonconforming material control, and root cause and corrective action processes
- Proficiency in data analysis, problem solving, continuous improvement, and statistical techniques
- Proficiency in review and interpretation of technical information such as blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Physical Requirements: This position requires the employee to sit, stand, and walk frequently; lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 25 pounds; finger and wrist dexterity required.
Required to wear PPE (i.e. face, foot, eye, hand, and/or hearing protection)
Work Environment: While performing duties of the job, the employee will work in an office setting within a metal finishing environment. The employee will be exposed to fumes and vapors, noise, chemicals, cold, heat, humidity, and dust.
