MONDAY TO FRIDAY 6AM TO 3PM, 78K TO 85K AND ELIGIBLE BONUS OF 10%

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Customer Quality Engineer to oversee our quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality systems, project management, and regulatory compliance, particularly within the food or pharmaceutical industries. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity of our products and ensuring customer satisfaction through rigorous quality control measures.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Food Science, Engineering, Quality Management).
  • Quality Engineer (CQE) Certification is required.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt, or higher, Certification is required.
  • Must have 2+ years’ experience in Quality Assurance, Customer Quality or Customer Experience roles.
  • At least 1-year experience in a supervisory or leadership position
  • Strong understanding of quality systems, including ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to lead quality investigations and communicate with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience with project management principles and methodologies, strong root cause analysis and RMA investigations experience.
  • Familiarity with FDA regulations, HACCP principles, CGMP practices, and other relevant compliance frameworks. Working knowledge of QMS, FMEA, CAPA.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
  • Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to collaborate across departments.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • We need someone with strong root cause analysis and RMA investigations experience, working knowledge of QMS, FMEA and CAPA and proven ability to lead quality investigations and communicate with customers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with FDA regulations, HACCP guidelines, and CGMP standards.
  • Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to assess adherence to quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fabricate processes that enhance product quality and efficiency.
  • Lead investigations into product defects or non-conformance issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Manage the QA/QC team, providing training and guidance on best practices in quality inspection and control.
  • Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics and present findings to senior management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in quality assurance methodologies.
