We’re Hiring: Quality Engineer (Oil & Gas) Location: Egypt | NOV Rig Equipment Join NOV and play a key role in ensuring quality excellence across pressure control equipment (BOPs and components). What you’ll do: * Perform visual, dimensional & functional inspections on BOPs (SBOP, Annular & Ram type) * Conduct in-process & final inspections (including supplier sites) * Prepare inspection reports, NCRs, and final data books * Support audits, calibration, and compliance with NOV QMS & HSE standards * Execute NDE inspections (PT & MPI) and review supplier documentation * Collaborate with workshop, suppliers, and clients to maintain quality standards * Develop and implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) based on client requirements * Monitor traceability and material identification throughout the repair process * Review and approve supplier inspection and quality documentation * Maintain and control measuring instruments and calibration records * Ensure compliance of outsourced processes with NOV quality requirements * Domestic travel will be required What we’re looking for: * Mechanical Engineering degree (minimum Bachelor’s) * 2–5 years’ experience in Oil & Gas, with pressure control equipment * Minimum 2 years’ experience in Quality Control in a machine job environment * Strong knowledge of inspection techniques, drawings & standards (API, ASTM, ISO, etc.) * Certifications like ASNT Level II (MPI/PT), AWS/CWI are a plus * Solid MS Office skills and strong communication If you’re detail-driven, hands-on, and passionate about quality in a high-impact engineering environment — we’d love to hear from you.
