Ltd (OEJ). Provides the interface at local and Oetiker site management level with the customer with the goal of meeting Oetiker and customer Quality requirements. Essential Functions Customer Quality Interface: Serve as the primary quality contact for Japan customers, representing Oetiker’s quality interests, understanding customer needs, and ensuring transparent communication of performance and requirements. Project & PPAP Management: Support sales in customer projects, implement customer-specific quality requirements, and manage PPAP timelines, milestones, approvals, and related action plans with factories. Issue Resolution & Claims Management: Track customer claims, coordinate sorting activities, conduct warranty analysis, and ensure systematic reporting and follow‑up. Cross‑Functional Coordination: Facilitate communication between customers, OEJ, and global Oetiker locations; engage management when escalation or support is needed. Quality Systems & Compliance: Maintain quality management systems (e.g., B&W), prepare and support customer audits, and ensure alignment with customer and internal quality standards. Training & Support: Provide quality-related training to OEJ teams and support continuous improvement activities. Timeline & Communication Management: Independently coordinate and monitor all relevant project and quality timelines, and collaborate closely with the OEJ Sales team on customer communication. Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and automotive quality systems. Proficient in AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC). Skilled in 8D problem solving and 5Why analysis. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Logical thinking, strong analytical ability, and structured problem-solving mindset. English proficiency required, Japnese Native. Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and cultures Required Travel: max. 20% Additional Information Education / Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. Minimum 5 years of quality experience in an automotive manufacturing environment. Experience working directly with customers on quality topics. Experience in manufacturing process control and continuous improvement. Experience with quality software and documentation systems.
