GENERAL SUMMARY:

Plans, designs, and coordinates the introduction of product into manufacturing process as well as quality for ongoing production by performing the following duties.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· 2 to 5 years’ related experience Quality Department/Manufacturing preferred
· 2 to 5 years’ experience in sample, service and pilot orders
· Automotive Experience preferred
· Good written and verbal communication
· Problem solving capabilities
· Experience in Customer Portals a plus
· PPAP Experience preferred
· Well organized
· Experience with Microsoft 365

1. Coordinate and lead the entire PPAP process for new and existing products, ensuring compliance with customer-specific requirements and industry standards including but not limited to IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and AIAG.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain, to gather all required documentation and data for PPAP submissions.
  • Work closely with the team to participate in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) for new product launches and engineering changes.
  • Review engineering drawings, specifications, and other documents to ensure accuracy and completeness of PPAP documentation.
  • Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure that the production process is capable of consistently meeting customer specifications.
  • Oversee and take part in the measurement and inspection activities, ensuring that proper measurement equipment and techniques are used, and that measurement data is accurate and well-documented.
  • Communicate with customers regarding PPAP status, addressing any concerns or questions, and ensuring timely submission and approval of PPAP packages.
  • Maintain records of all PPAP submissions/approvals and provide regular updates to management on PPAP progress and performance.
  • Monitor customer portals/releases for sample, pilot, and service orders.
  • Prepare and label sample, pilot, and service orders.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned
