What to Expect
Tesla is seeking an engineer to develop and operate audits in the scope of managing quality at Gigafactory Berlin. This involves collaborating with our internal customers on the quality of their products or processes and standardizing this approach for continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and define Worldwide Quality Standards for New Model Y
  • Establish Product Audit processes & standards, review and communicate audit results
  • Lead Product Audit KPIs
  • Drive improvements utilizing systematic problem solving methodologies for Product Quality related topics.
  • Set priorities for cross functional teams base on Product Audit outcome.
  • Assess the static and dynamic quality performance, closely collaborating with a team of auditors.
  • Benchmark Audit activities across other Tesla factories. Build Global Network to exchange best practice and bring Audit to the next level
  • Be the voice of the customer and work on improving our products and processes

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related technical field
  • Experience in automotive industry including various commodities, high tech, or other high volume/high complexity manufacturing environment
  • Advanced knowledge of Automotive Quality Core Tools, in-depth knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Possess demonstrable leadership abilities and previous experience managing Continuous Improvement Projects. Ability to assess the severity & impact of product or process compliance
  • Advanced MS Office skills. Ability to use systems e.g. JIRA Confluence, Coalesce, create dashboards using SQL or Ziplabs
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Interpersonal skills dealing with all levels of an organization in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment with cross-functional teams
  • Fluent English, German speaker will be a benefit
  • Driving license
