An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a skilled Quality Engineer to join us at the Turbine Core Manufacturing Facility in Trentham
The Trentham core manufacture facility is a high-volume manufacturing facility, manufacturing a variety of ceramic cores for Intermediate and High-Pressure Turbine Blades.
In this role, you will implement new manufacturing and quality processes and deliver improvements across the area. Ideally, you will bring experience in investigating quality issues, problem solving and be able to lead and close audits. We are looking for someone with an active approach in order to enhance the delivery of the current service.

  • Previous relevant experience in Quality and/or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Understanding of drawings and specifications is required.
  • Experience of problem solving.

  • Proven record of delivering results and meeting customer requirements.

You will work with/alongside numerous departments across the business, adapting your communication skills accordingly. You will:

  • Implement new manufacturing and quality processes in line with the Quality Management System, ISO/AS9100 and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead problem solving/corrective action groups consisting of cross functional team members.
  • Conduct on-going gap analysis activities to determine resource requirements and to identify potential obstacles/risks.
  • Develop feedback and resolution loops to enable continuous learning.
  • Apply statistical principles to evaluate and solve process variability technical problems.
  • Understand and comply with Rolls-Royce Quality Management System
