You’ll work with a talented team of engineers, Production Operators, suppliers, and customers to drive continuous improvement and achieve our ‘Fit & Forget’ promise.
What You’ll Do:
Innovate: Assist with new product development, using Quality Planning tools to proactively identify risks and support engineers in finding solutions.
Ensure Excellence: Create Route Cards and Inspection points based on risk assessments, customer requirements, and data analysis.
Collaborate: Work with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of new products.
Lead: Champion Malfunction Documents (MFD) and lead problem-solving teams to address root causes of issues.
Audit: Conduct internal audits on Quality and Environmental matters, driving continuous improvement.
Support: Help with the dispatch of NPI products through the ERP system and provide support to the rest of the team during busy periods or holiday cover.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: Quality background in defence or aerospace, with knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 (ISO 45001 and AS9100 are a plus).
Skills: Lead Auditor , APQP/PPAP knowledge, problem-solving skills, and 8D experience. Team-working, collaboration and communication skills are also critical.
Education: Either Level 3 education with extensive experience or Level 6 qualification with around 2 years of experience.
Tech-Savvy: Proficient in MS Office and report writing.
