PgP5 Plant is Bosch Group’s newest expansion in Malaysia a semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan Penang. The construction has begun in May 2021 and first series of production to commence in 2023. With the long-term forecasts for growth of semiconductor component quantities, coupled with the front-end production in Bosch’s Dresden facility in Germany, capacity expansion is required for the back-end production, which is the final testing phase of semiconductors and sensors. PgP5 will primarily focus on the final testing of components manufactured at Bosch Automotive Electronics’ fab in Dresden, Germany. The plant will also house R&D and training facilities. Job Description Responsible as the line/process quality for the Sensors, Automotive ICs, Consumer Electronics product. Window person for all related quality issue in the value stream, internally and externally, including incoming product quality issue and customer issue. Ensure the line is complied with all quality requirements. Responsible for handling of non-conformance products escapee to customers (internal & external), with coordination with QMM-C. Responsible for block and un-block of non-conformance product in the plant, with coordination with Product Engineer. Responsible for customer’s return material approval, with coordination with QMM-C. Responsible for return materials process to supplier, with coordination with QMM-X. Responsible to arrange and coordinate failure analysis in internal or external lab. Responsible to review and define test guardband and screening criteria, with coordination with Product Engineer. Responsible for incoming quality control. Responsible for Ongoing Reliability Test planning, execution and release for Consumer Electronics product. Responsible as QMM representative in the Simultaneous Engineering Team (SE Team), providing input and request for solutions from SE Team. Initiate 8D and drive 8D of incoming, line, customer issues. Support internal and external audits, including follow up, closing and effectiveness verification of audits according to customer, IATF 16949 and VDA6.3 criterias. Act as VDA6.3 Process Auditor, perform internal process audit as plan. Support department 6S activity. Support change management 4M checklist verification. Support lessons learned activity. Sharing input to the lesson learned plant coordinator. Support plant 14Q initiatives. Support MSA study, including review of MSA study reported by MST team. Support Daily Leadership Meeting for any quality issue regarding Sensors, Automotive ICs, Consumer Electronics line. Support continuous improvement activities and quality mindset improvement activities. Qualifications Minimum Bachelors Science or Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent, preferably in Semiconductor. Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in a related technical or quality assurance role. Prefer candidate with VDA6.3 Process Auditor Certification and/or IATF16949 Auditor Certification.
